Finals Hero Points

During the FINALS ONLY, In the finals lobby of games, a hero points system will be used. This is meant to promote variety in team compositions. If a team exceeds 15 points, their score in the match that they exceed 15 will be nullified. For more details, please check the ruleset.

Esports Points

The Esports Points Distribution will align to this following rule and will be assigned to your team/roster:

Placement Scrim Challenge 1 Challenge 2
1 20 100 200
2 15 70 140
3 12 50 100
4 10 35 70
5/6 7 25 50
7/8 5 20 40
9/10 3 15 30
11/12 1 10 20

What are Esports Points?

Completing and scoring a standing in Weekly Scrims, Challenges and J Cup Qualifiers will secure the player/team Esports Points. The Top 12 of Scrim Points will qualify to Challenges, and Top 6 of overall Esports Points will qualify directly to J Cup Qualifier Finals.

Esports Points Tracker

Esports Points will be updated after each scrim, players can keep track of their esports points on the Naraka Bladepoint EU/NA Esports Points Tracker.

Trios Esports points will be added directly to the teams. If there is a change of roster in the current team, the current points will be deducted at a rate of "0.25number of players changed". Adding a new player will not affect the amount of Esports points a team has. If a team changes more than 2 players, all points will be deducted from the team.

  • For example, Team X has four players, A, B, C and D, and currently has 100 points:
  • If team X removes A, 0.251=25% of the points will be deducted, leaving 75 points.
  • If team X removes A,B, deduct 0.252=50% of the points, leaving 50 points.
  • If team X removes A,B and adds a new player E, then 0.25*2=50% of the points are deducted, and the team of C,D,E has 50 points.

How to compete on EGL

To register to any EGL tournament you only need a free account. After creating an account, just navigate to your desired tournament and click 'Join tournament'. You will be asked to input your Game ID and then you'll be registered.
Please review our How-to video on how to register for tournaments:
If you've updated or changed your in-game ID for any title that we support, you should also update it on EGL. For that, you need to go to to the Game & Social Accounts tab in your profile and update it. If you were already signed up to the tournament, please leave and join back again so it gets updated.
Check-in is the tool we have to only put players that are actually available to play into our brackets, reducing the number of no-shows significally within a tournament. When signing-up, review the check-in time on the tournament overview page and come back at that time to do so by clicking on the same button that you used to register.

Only players that checked-in correctly will appear in the bracket.
Please note that players that register while check-in is active will be checked-in automatically.
Matches can be seen both in the Bracket and in the Fixtures & Results pages of the tournament. Nevertheless, we recommend to visit your Dashboard to also find the reporting buttons and the comment section.
You can try to add or invite your opponent in-game if the game allows it, but we strongly recommend to chat with them beforehand as it will also be proof of contact and will help in case any disputes come up.
To see the comment section, go to your Dashboard and then click 'View Details' on your desired match. At the bottom of the page you will find the comment section that can also be visited by tournament administrators. Remember that to see new comments, you will need to refresh the page.
You can report the result of your match by going to your Dashboard (double-sword icon on the top right corner of the site) and then click 'View Details'. There you'll find the score reporting buttons, the no-show report button and also the access to creating a ticket.
The one and only way to get support for a match in the tournament is using the match tickets. To report a ticket, navigate once again to your Dashboard (double-sword icon on the top right corner of the site) and then click 'View Details'. There you'll find the 'Create ticket' button, alongside the rest of the reporting buttons.
The website indicates TBC/TBD as your opponent when you are waiting for an opponent that's on the previous round. Please wait patiently and keep an eye on your notifications and in your Dashboard.
If your opponent has reported the incorrect score for your match, please select the 'Dispute' button found in your match. You can navigate to your match by going to your Dashboard (double-sword icon on the top right corner of the site) and then click 'View Details'.

You will be given the option to provide further details before the match is placed into dispute. Please provide as much information as possible and include any evidence if you have any.
If a tournament has prizing it will be listed on the tournament overview page, as well as on the tournament card.
Upon completion of the tournament cash prize winners will be contacted via email to arrange payment.
