We do not “sell” consumer data as most people would understand the term “sell”. However, the CCPA defines the “sale” of information broadly to include activities we believe most people would understand as “information sharing”. For example, the CCPA defines “sell,” “selling,” “sale,” or “sold,” as selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by the business to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. The term “other valuable consideration” is not defined in the CCPA. Notwithstanding that, we do not believe we “sell” consumer data as the term “sell” is defined under the CCPA. However, we do share consumer data with our affiliates, third party service providers, advertising partners and marketing partners as explained above in this Further Disclosures Under the CCPA section. To the extent those activities may constitute a “sale”, we have shared such data with such parties the past twelve (12) months and anticipate continuing to share such data with the same parties in the next twelve (12) months. If our data sharing practices change, we will update this policy to reflect that change.
