ESWC Qualifier #1
View BracketEuropean Gaming League (EGL) is pleased to announce that we have partnered up with the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) to run the online qualifiers for the ESWC 2015 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Finals. This year's event will be held at the Zenith Arena, Paris on 2nd & 3rd May 2015, where eight of the worlds top teams will battle it out for $50,000 in prize money in front of 6,000 live spectators.
The online qualifiers will consist of four one day cups hosted exclusively on egl.tv, and will be open to European teams only. The top two teams from each qualifier will be added to an eight team championship bracket to determine the overall winner. The dates of the online qualifiers are as follows:

Player Requirements
Players must be 16 years old in order to participate in any of the online qualifiers. Players under the age of 18 must also meet the following requirements to compete at the ESWC 2015 COD finals:
Players must provide parental consent to the tournament organiser (ESWC).
Players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of their participation at the ESWC 2015 COD finals.
Team Requirements
A team's roster must contain at least 2 players of the nationality of the country the team wishes to represent.
If a team has 3 or 4 players of the same nationality, it is this nationality which will be used to define the team nationality
If a team has 2 players of nationality X and 2 players of nationality Y, the team can choose between the two nationalities that they wish to represent.
If a team is composed of players of 4 different nationalities, the Club* nationality will be used to define the team nationality.
A team cannot change the nationality it represents after its first participation in an online qualifier.
*The Organizing Committee of ESWC considers a ‘Club' to be a legal entity or company registered with its national Company House, or whose main headquarters are in that country, attested to by the provision of copies of the relevant legal documentation.
Team Roster Changes
Between qualifiers:
A player can change teams between different qualifiers. However, the player will be only be able to participate at the ESWC 2015 COD Final with the last team in which he/ she qualified.
Between qualifiers and Final:
After a team has qualified or received a slot from the ESWC Organising Committee for the ESWC 2015 COD Final, the team can only replace a maximum of 2 members.The team lineup change cannot modify the nationality of the team according to the team nationality rules.
