Cross Platform - PC AND CONSOLE ONLY

This includes all platforms on which Overwatch 2 is playable.

Series

Tournament lobbies will be played in a custom game with specifically set competitive settings. Every round prior to the Grand Finals is a BO3 (FT2). Grand Finals is BO5 (FT3).

Matches

Server Issues

In the event of server issues arising, tournaments may be postponed or canceled depending on the severity of the issue. If the tournament is canceled, it will be announced on Natter’s Twitter and Natter’s Discord server. The tournament page will also be adjusted to reflect this outcome.

Match Pauses

Each team has ten (10) minutes of pause time per match. They are able to use them in five minute intervals, however they’d like, throughout the match. If a team utilizes pause time past the ten minute mark, the opposing team may gain a match point or you may be forced to forfeit the match.

Match Interruptions

If a player joins the lobby mid-round, the lobby must immediately be paused and the spectator must be removed immediately

Disconnections

Any disconnection from the match will begin a 5 minute timer for that player to join back. The game will be paused for this duration of time. If the player is unable to join back within those 5 minutes, their team can either choose to either utilize any remaining pause time, continue play 4v5 or forfeit the map. Teams will be unable to substitute anyone in mid-map.

Incorrect Match Settings

Before each match round begins, both teams must verify that the match settings are correct. By indicating that you are ready to begin the match, that means that the teams are okay with the match settings and the map selected.

No Shows

A team has ten (10) minutes to show up and be ready to begin their match. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit. If this delay is longer than 10 minutes and the team either doesn’t have five in lobby or isn’t ready to begin, please report the no-show through the Match Fixture by clicking the ‘Opponent No Show’ button.

If you reported a no-show and the opposing team disputes it, please be prepared to provide video or photo evidence.

Forfeits

In order for a forfeit to be processed, there must be sufficient proof of their accusation. No forfeit will occur if there is no proof or if the map/match is completed.

Teams may/will forfeit a map/match for the following reason:

  • A team completely leaving or ending a match prior to its completion, and then failing to provide valid proof of the accusation against the opposing team.
  • Utilizing pause time over the allotted time.

Reporting

Failure to complete a match or report the scores within 1 hour of receiving the match fixtures will result in disqualification for both teams due to inactivity.

Match Result

Both teams are responsible for reporting the result of a match. This can be done by clicking on the match fixture link found on the Match Fixture page.

Tournament brackets will be updated automatically once both teams have reported the match.

In the instance that only one team reports the match result, the result will automatically be confirmed after five (5) minutes. If you contact support through your match chat, this timer will cancel. If you need assistance in anything other than the reported match, please utilize Natter's Discord.

Disputed Result

In the instance that both teams report conflicting results, the match will be placed into dispute and will be handled by a member of staff.

Evidence

We strongly recommend that you obtain photo or video evidence showing the outcome of every match, along with any match issues.

All video evidence should be uploaded to an external website, such as YouTube. Photographic evidence should be uploaded to an external website such as Imgur, Photobucket or Imageshack.
