Halo Infinite Reveal - on Xbox Series X!
It’s no surprise that Halo Infinite will be a release title for the new Xbox console, Xbox Series X, but it’s still some time off and we’re going to see some gameplay.
With the lack of events due to the global pandemic we’ve seen marketing strategies switch with the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 still on an event schedule releasing content when E3 would have been happening. Most developers have switched to doing content on their own time with broadcasts from offices, bedrooms and spare rooms.
We saw the first of this with Microsoft showcase for third-party games with 13 stunning titles with the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Madden NFL 21 and Yakuza: Like a Dragon coming to Xbox Series X. The presentation lasts for around an hour and shows games in 4K and ‘up to 120 fps’. Pretty powerful piece of kit!
The new showcase will show Microsoft’s first-party titles (titles from Xbox Game Studios) so amongst Halo Infinite there’ll be other titles that are announced and shown for the first time. The news was confirmed by 343industries community manager John "Unyshek" Junyszek:
‘You may have seen people talking about this lightly before, but we're extremely excited to confirm that Halo Infinite will be one of many first-party titles included in the Xbox 20/20 event in July. Get ready.’
We’re ready, are you?! What do you want to see?
