PES League 2019 World Finals

Recently EGL played our part in hosting the PES League World Finals in London at the Emirates Stadium, the home of Arsenal Football Club. After EGL executed both Season One and Season Two European 2019 Regional Finals, Konami again asked us to manage the PES League 2019 World Finals.

The planning started over a year ago, with the path set throughout the year to crescendo at the World Finals. Konami used the opportunity to announce several new projects and releases including the extension of the existing partnership with Arsenal FC and the eFootball PES 2020 Demo date release & features.

The stage was designed specifically for the finals, to represent the enormity between the Regionals and the World Finals. Our production team made sure that everything was flawless and ready for the broadcast that was streamed both online via twitch and on television via Globo & TNT all with separate language broadcasts in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Thai and Indonesian. The stage, broadcast and studio were all set, all that was left was to crown a PES League 2019 Champion.

The tournament saw 8 Co-Op teams and 16 1v1 players compete to call themselves the greatest PES 2019 players on the planet. The tournament got underway and after some closely fought contests, a few penalties the victors emerged.

Eligasul Stars, from Brazil, took home the Co-Op 2019 World Champions title and Usmakabyle, from France, was crowned as the 1v1 2019 World Champion.
